Tim B. Miller’s Blog London’s Famous Denmark Street
I just got back from London. My highlight of the trip was going to Denmark St. If you don't know about Denmark St. it is where all the music stores are in one area and there is also some music history on that street.
It is where the Rolling Stones recorded their first album.
It is in a basement on the east side of the street, but it's no longer a recording studio no more but a pub. If you don't know what a pub is that is a bar in England.
I talked to few musicians there and spent a small fortune on guitar books for teaching my guitar students. They had great selection to pick from and it cost much more there.
If I remember right every dollar is $1.60 verses our $1.00 so times $1.60 for every dollar you spend.
One thing I didn't like about London and Dublin is it is so darn expensive over there:( But I saw some great attractions and I will never forget it.

Check out "The Stringery" site for printable tab of this lesson. www.thestringery.com Private guitar lessons available @ ashburymusichall.com People pointed out that the bass line was wrong and when I checked it I noticed the Am chord was wrong. It should be a G instead of E on alternating note. I tried to correct the tab and messed it all up. It sounds ok the way it is but it bugs me. Maybe I'll take it down and start over. Sorry, Dave
