Easy Guitar Tips For Beginners

In this post I will give some quick beginners tips for guitar. Some of the most common basics you need to know.

I want to quickly give all you beginner guitarist out there some very quick easy guitar tips to get you going in the right direction. First of all when you are learning guitar for the first time you want to get acquainted with all the parts and how to tune the guitar first.

After you got this mastered you want to learn the most basic chords. Which are called open chords A-C-D-E-F and G. A lot of songs can be played with just these chords.

While you are learning these open chords strum straight down quarter not strumming in 4/4 time 4 beats to a measure. So let's look at an example shall we.
Key of C  C-F-G

Play C strum 4 times 1,2,3,4 switch to
F strum 4 times 1,2,3,4 switch to
G strum 4 times 1,2,3,4 switch back to your root chord C
C strum 4 times 1,2,3,4 you’re done. Good Job!

Practice this in the very beginning and it will get you going. After you get your chords going and feeling more comfortable with them. You want to learn some easy guitar songs to play. Total beginners have to learn children’s’ song first it is the easiest one’s that you can get good at quickly. Row, Row, Row Your Boat in the key of C is very good one and very easy.
